Administrative Dashboard for Subitt

Developed a user-friendly administrative dashboard for Subitt, addressing the lack of administrative functionality on the website. The dashboard effectively displayed company and customer information, streamlining administrative tasks.
Role:
Collaborated on managing routes, data, and permissions using Trello. Researched and implemented the "Recharts" npm library to visualize business data, enabling administrators to track trends in customer and revenue metrics over time.

E-commerce Website for La Perla Jewelry

HeartSet Hackathon Project
Description:
Recognized with 2nd place at the BYU-I 2023 Hackathon for resolving intricate DOM bugs and employing advanced CSS troubleshooting techniques. Delivered an optimized and seamless user experience, tailored for diverse audiences, that showcased innovative design and functionality.
Role:
Led debugging efforts to resolve complex DOM issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and smooth functionality. Collaborated with a team to enhance user interfaces and implement creative solutions, demonstrating technical expertise and a commitment to teamwork.

Abraham’s Shop E-Commerce Platform
Description:
Developed "Abraham's Shop," an innovative e-commerce platform using the MERN stack. Integrated seamless PayPal functionality and secure routing to enhance the shopping experience while ensuring data safety. Delivered a dynamic and user-friendly site that meets modern e-commerce standards.
Role:
Built the platform’s core architecture, implemented robust admin capabilities, and optimized secure routes. Focused on creating a seamless payment integration and intuitive user interface, showcasing a proactive approach to full-stack web development.
Project 5:
Jimenez Jewelry - Headless Storefront
Description:
Jimenez Jewelry is a real E-commerce store originally built with Next.js + Shopify. With my college professors recommendation, I replaced Next.js with Astro, for blazingly fast loading content. Optimized SEO for google search rankings. Features include account creation, wishlist options, cart management, etc.
Role:
Built & designed the entire store. Added everything in Shopify's backend CMS. Fetched backend data with GraphQL to create a beautiful storefront.
Project 6:
Marketing Blog
Description:
Used Astro to display researched content about marketing, specific to SEO.
Role:
Read, implemented, and modified code to create beautiful layouts with markdown. End result is a blazing fast website.
Project 7:
Plums Note Taking App
Description:
Although it's not the most beautiful site, with a timeframe of two and a half months, we were able to get the MVP for "Plums", a note taking app. CRUD applies to each page, even images.
Role:
Learned Next.js, TailwindCSS, and MongoDB implementation with these tools. First project doing this & learned a lot. Worked with another teammate who gave great feedback and suggestions. Implemented his advice.
Project 8:
English Learning App - Book of Mormon
Description:
Though lackluster, built with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, this solved a real problem. A client wanted to learn English, by reading one of their favorite books. They wished to hear a few words, have the app pause, and they would repeat what they heard.
Role:
Used JSON to gather all chapters of the Book of Mormon, & styled to appear as scripture. Filtered books, implemented ability to flip chapters, & utilized the Web Speech Api to parse text, pause, and read the scanned page content.
